of Johann Ludwig Bartruff
Johann Ludwig Bartruff and his wife, Dorothea Seiler are found living in Winzerhausen, Wuerttemberg, Germany in the 1790s. He is the father of Christian Konrad Bartruff, who was born in that area February 6, 1792. Both he and his father were wine grape growers at Winzerhausen. Christian married Eva Luise Schafer May 25, 1824. At this point I have documented 12 children for Christian and Eva. They included Jakob Conrad and Frederick Ludwig Bartruff (christened Ludwig Friederig Bartruff) who came to America together in 1852. I am currently in the process of compiling the information on the German ancestors and would be happy to answer questions. I will be including other branches of this line as it is compiled.
