BIOGRAPHY


My name is Stephenie Flora. Members of my pioneer families settled in or near Marion county in 1847. One hundred years later I was born in Salem and have continued to reside in various parts of the county since that time.

Oregon Pioneers and Marion County history are my hobby, my passion, and according to my long-suffering-husband, an obsession. I am a member of: Oregon Historical Society; Marion County Historical Society; Polk County Historical Society, and Genealogical Forum of Oregon.

I have been using computers and databases since 1986 to compile my information. I collect biographies and histories and am always interested in information on Oregon Pioneers and in particular, Marion County Pioneers.   

I am indebted to the descendants of these hardy pioneers and to my friends and supporters who donate information for inclusion in this site.  To all of them I give my heartfelt thank you!
